State Championship Results, Day One


The Washington State Boys Water Polo Championship started Thursday, November 13 at the Curtis Aquatic Center in University Place, WA. Eight teams qualified for the championship tournament by placing in the top four of last weekend's regional tournaments, held at Curtis and Rogers High Schools.

Thursday's Results:
Mercer Island 19, Bainbridge Island 2
Bellevue 17, Wilson 4
Curtis 19, Auburn Mountainview 3
Roosevelt 16, Kentridge 4

The four winning teams advance to Friday's semi-final games; Mercer Island will face Bellevue at 6:30, Curtis and Roosevelt will play at 8:00. The winners of the semi-final games will play in Saturday's championship game at 7:00.

Bainbridge Island and Wilson play at 3:30 on Friday, and Auburn Mountainview and Kentridge face off at 5:00.
