Curtis Jamboree on Saturday, September 5

The Enumclaw High School Boys Water Polo Team will open competition on Saturday, September 5 at the annual Curtis Jamboree, in University Place, WA.

Joining the Hornets at the event will be: Auburn Mountainview, Bainbridge Island, Bellevue, Curtis, Lakes, Newport, and Wilson.

A second jamboree, with different teams participating, will take place the following weekend; the Emerald Ridge jamboree will take place at Puyallup's Rogers High School on Saturday, August 12.

The Hornets open regular season play on Thursday, September 10 in a non-league game at South Kitsap High School in Port Orchard, at 3:30.

League play will start for the Hornets on Tuesday, September 15 against Auburn Riverside, in a 7:30 game at the Enumclaw Aquatic Center.

Boys Water Polo Season Starts Monday

Boys High School Water Polo season starts in Washington State high schools on Monday, August 24.

The Enumclaw High School Boys Water Polo Team will spend their first week of the season practicing at The Muckleshoot Health and Wellness Center pool, while the Enumclaw Aquatic Center completes routine maintenance. The Hornets hope to return to their home pool on Saturday, August 29.

The Hornets are scheduled to open the season at the annual Curtis Jamboree on Saturday, September 5, at Curtis High School in University Place. They will begin regular season competition on Thursday, September 10 at South Kitsap, and league competition at home on Tuesday, September 15 against Auburn Riverside.

Post-season play will start on November 6 and 7, with two Regional Tournaments, and the season will finish with a State Tournament on November 12, 13, and 14.

Referee Training Comes to Federal Way

Referee training (required for new refs and refs wanting to advance) will be held at the King County Library in Federal Way, WA on Saturday, August 29, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Everyone is welcome, so pass the word to coaches and team managers. The training will be beneficial for everyone, new or experienced polo people! Full of referee knowledge transfer moments, good to know info, and action packed videos. If you want to learn more about the game, come to referee training.

Let's Get Ready for Water Polo!

The 2015 Boys Water Polo Season opens on Monday, August 24. Girls Swim & Dive begins their season on the 24th, too.

At Enumclaw High School, athletic registration is on Monday, August 17. Freshmen Orientation is on Tuesday, August 18, and Hornet Days are on Thursday and Friday, August 20 and 21. The Enumclaw High School Hornets will spend much of their first week working out at the Muckleshoot Health and Wellness Center pool while the Enumclaw Aquatic Center is closed for maintenance. After the first week, most practices are at the Enumclaw Aquatic Center, 420 Semanski Street S, from 8:00-9:30 p.m. Hornet home games will be held at the same venue, with most weekday games held at 7:30 p.m.
