The Enumclaw High School Girls Water Polo Team improved their league record to 4-0 with an 8-3 victory over the Bonney Lake Panthers on Friday afternoon in the Sumner pool. The Hornets overall record is 5-0.
Scoring for the Hornets were Kaitlyn Korsch and Lindsay Bowden, with two goals each, and Liz Schmidt, Ali Ballard, Kelsey Sonneson, and Alexis Firlotte with one goal apiece. Goalkeeper Shaye Hogerhuis collected nine saves, and added two assists on the offensive side. Alina Van Ruff and Bowden added two assists each, and Annie Birklid and Korsch each had one. Bowden grabbed four steals, while Ali Ballard had three, and Firlotte stole two.
The Hornets travel to Tacoma tomorrow (Saturday) for a non-league game against the Wilson Rams at 12:00 in the Wilson pool.
