The Enumclaw High School Girls Water Polo Team played their annual maroon-white intra-squad game on Friday, March 6. In the annual event, the team is divided in to two squads that play a regulation game against each other, with league referees officiating. The game is an opportunity for new players to get the feel and tempo of a real game, for experienced players to scrimmage under game conditions, and for parents and fans to gain an understanding of the game of water polo.
In this year's event, the white team beat the maroon team 13-12. Scoring for the white team were Lindsay Bowden with five goals, and Liz Schmidt, Rachel Deonigi, Breanna Flaquinti, and Brooke Flaquinti with two goals each. On the maroon team, Tianna Hogan scored six, Kaitlyn Korsch scored two, and Rose Johnson, Kelsey Sonneson, Alina Van Ruff, and Erin Stucker each scored a goal.
