Shane Jackson and Logan Ross each scored midway through the fourth quarter, to tie the game at 10-10, and VanHoof scored on a power play with 2:39 left in the game, to give the Hornets an 11-10 edge.

The Trojans tied the game withe 1:17 left, and scored again after an ordinary foul with 40 seconds left, while holding the Hornets scoreless for the final two minutes.
