Enumclaw Beats Stadium 11-6

The EHS Boys Water Polo Team beat Stadium 11-6 on Tuesday, September 28, in a home game at the Enumclaw Aquatic Center.

The Hornets scored early, after a Stadium exclusion foul, 96 seconds into the opening quarter, on a goal from five meters by sophomore Bennon VanHoof. Senior Garrett Hall increased the lead to 2-0 later in the period, but Stadium scored with 18 second left in the quarter, after a VanHoof exclusion foul, to narrow the lead to 2-1.

The Hornets controlled the second quarter, adding four goals and holding the Tigers scoreless.

Enumclaw increased the lead in the third period, on goals by VanHoof and Braden Dedrick, while limiting Stadium to a single goal. In the final period, Stadium fought back, scoring four goals, while Enumclaw scored three.

Scoring for the Hornets in the win were Garrett Hall, with four goals, VanHoof with three, and Braden Dedrick, Gabe Sales, Logan Ross, and goalkeeper Josh Musick with one goal each. Musick also gathered 26 saves.

The Hornets travel to the Auburn Pool on Thursday for a league game against the Auburn Trojans. Game time is scheduled for 6:30.
