Girls high school water
polo enters their fourth week of competition this week in Washington State, with 16 games during the week, and two tournaments in Pierce County to wrap up the week's contests. The Emerald Ridge Jaguars will host a tournament on Friday and Saturday at Puyallup's Rogers High School on Friday and Saturday, and Lakes High School will host a tournament at their pool in Lakewood on Saturday and Sunday. Both tournaments' tentative schedules are posted below.
The Hornets will compete in the Lakes Tournament, facing defending State Champion Gig Harbor at 8:00 Saturday morning, and the host Lakes Lancers later that morning, at 11:00. On Saturday evening, the Hornets will play Newport, at 6:00, and wrap up group play Sunday morning at 11:00 against Chehalem, OR. Enumclaw will play a fifth game Sunday afternoon; game time will be determined by the Hornets' record in group play.
