USA Water Polo Brings ODP Camp to WA
USA Water Polo will host an Olympic Development Program (ODP) Camp at South Kitsap High School, in Port Orchard, WA on January 16 and 17 for boys and girls.
The Olympic Development Program serves as a forum to identify and develop athletes to represent USA Water Polo throughout domestic and international competition. The foundation of the program is a systematic approach to athlete development through a training program that focuses on both the technical and tactical components of water polo while placing a premium on overall physical fitness.
The goal is to identify and develop athletes at the USAWP club level and then integrate them into the national team pipeline via the Olympic Development Program.
The camp is limited to 100 athletes; first come, first served. There is no walk-up registration. The camp is open to all USAWP Silver and Gold athletes.
