The undefeated UCLA Bruins will defend their NCAA water polo title on Sunday against the USC Trojans on Sunday. The title game will start at 6:12, and take place at UCLA's Spieker Aquatic Center.
The Bruins advanced to the Championship Game with a convincing 17-4 win over UCSD in the tournament's first semi-final game on Saturday. USC upset the number two seed California Bears 9-6 in Saturday's second semi-final game, to earn their chance to face the Bruins in the NCAA finals for the second straight year.
UCLA beat USC 9-8 in last year's title game at UCSD's Canyonview Aquatic Center. USC had won the title the six previous years. This will mark the fifth time in the past seven years that the cross-town rivals have faced off for the NCAA title.
UCSD and Cal will battle for third place on Sunday, at 4:00, at the Spieker Pool.
