The Enumclaw High School Girls Water Polo Team will have a pre-season organizational meeting on Tuesday, February 3, after school, at the EHS Commons. All girls interested in turning out when the season starts on March 2 should attend, or get information at the school athletic office.
Off-season workouts are taking place through February at the Enumclaw Pool, on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 8:00-9:30. Girls from all middle schools and high schools are welcome to attend, try water polo, and prepare for the upcoming season.
Washington State's Girls High School Water Polo Season Starts on March 2. The Enumclaw Hornets compete in the East Division; the East Division includes Auburn, Auburn Mountainview, Auburn Riverside, Enumclaw, Kentridge, and Tahoma.

Tim Tubbs Added to EHS Hall of Fame
Former EHS coach and Athletic Director Tim Tubbs will be inducted into Enumclaw High School's Athletic Hall of Fame on Friday, January 9, at Chuck Smith Gymnasium. Tubbs will be honored during halftime at Friday's boys basketball game; a celebration will take place after the game.
Tubbs began teaching at Enumclaw High School in 1972, and coached golf, track, and basketball before taking the helm as Athletic Director in 2000. He coached boys golf from 1973 to 2000, leading the team to a state championship in 1982. Tubbs earned league Coach of the Year honors in golf and track multiple times, and was once named regional Coach of the Year in golf.

Winter Polo Continues Through February at Enumclaw Pool
Water Polo workouts are open to all middle school and high
school girls who are interested in learning and practicing water polo
skills. Girls from all schools are
welcome. Workouts are supervised by EHS coaches, led by veteran high school
players, and cost $300.
