Schedule Update

The Enumclaw High School Boys Water Polo schedule has been updated.  All times have been posted, including tonight's 8:30 game against Auburn Riverside at the Auburn Pool.

The Curtis Tournament has been reduced from three days to two, on October 12 and 13.

Also note That the October 2 game at Kentwood will take place at the Covington Aquatic Center (Tahoma HS), 18230 SE 240th Street, Covington, WA, while the October 16 game at Kentridge will take place at Linbergh High School, 16426 128th Ave. SE, Renton, WA.

Enumclaw Boys Win Auburn Tournament

In a dramatic overtime win over host Auburn Riverside, the Enumclaw High School Boys Water Polo Team won the annual Auburn School District Water Polo Tournament.  The Hornets beat the Ravens 9-8 in sudden death overtime.

Enumclaw won the tournament, with Auburn Riverside finishing second. Puyallup finished third, Emerald Ridge fourth, Lakes fifth, and Newport sixth.

The Hornets beat Puyallup and tied Peninsula on Friday, and advanced to beat Emerald Ridge, Newport, and Auburn Riverside on Saturday to win the tournament.

The Hornets face the Ravens again on Tuesday in a 8:30 league game at the Auburn Pool.

USA Water Polo Olympic Development Program

The 2012-2013 USA Water Polo Olympic Develop Program (ODP) is gearing up for another year of high level training and player development. Sandy Nitta, USA Water Polo Hall of Fame Coach, will be returning as the West Region Director along with a strong group of coaches. If you have ever wanted to be a better player, gain water polo knowledge and the skills to play at the next level or just be a better player on your club I strongly encourage you to consider the ODP program.

The ODP program was developed under the guidance of the legendary Womens National Team Coach Guy Baker and his staff. The system is proven to work and develop better players, proof positive with   the 2012 Gold Medal being won by Team USA.

To benefit the most from the coaching and development the 8th grade and under program is an important start, develop the skills early and the player will benefit the most.

First tryouts for the PNW mainland will be November 17th, 2012. Both boys and girls will tryout on the same day, same location. Rogers High School Pool, Puyallup Wa. Or The Salvation Army Kroc Center, Salem Oregon.

Pacific NW Shores Offers September Clinic


PNW Shores will be hosting a two day clinic and tournament for all high school age group athletes. Boys and Girls will have the opportunity to learn, develop and enhance skills at each position. Team tactics for offense and defense will be taught in controlled scrimmages each day.

Specific position work for; Centers, Center Guards, Attackers, Goalies, Playmakers.

Classroom time will be spent on what colleges are looking for and how to build an athletic resume and start the recruiting process.

Clinic participants will be put onto teams to compete in mini round robin tournament each day of event.

Saturday September 15th  9:00 am to 12:00 pm  1:30 to  5:00 pm

Sunday September 16th  9:00 am to 2:00 pm

With Classroom sessions, quality coaches and the best facility you do not want to miss this opportunity to develop your game.
