Summer Polo on Tuesday & Thursday Nights
The Enumclaw High School Water Polo programs will start summer workouts on June 7 at the Enumclaw Aquatic Center. Summer workouts are intended for students who are planning to play for EHS during the 2011-2012 school year, and will be open to both boys and girls. High school boys planning on playing this fall are strongly encouraged to attend. Middle school players are also welcome. Summer workouts will cost $3 per workout.
Workouts will be on Tuesday and Thursday nights, from 8:00 to 9:30.

EHS Water Polo Meeting on Thursday, June 9
The Enumclaw High School boys and girls water polo teams will be holding a brief informational meeting in the EHS Commons on Thursday, June 9, at 3:00. Any boy interested in playing in the Fall of 2011, or girl interested in playing in Spring, 2012, should attend. We'll quickly discuss summer polo programs, fundraising, and next year's schedule.
Girls Season Wraps Up With Banquet
The Enumclaw Girls Water Polo Team concluded their 2011 season with their post-season banquet on Wednesday, June 1.
Six Hornets received team awards, as voted by teammates, to recognize outstanding contribution to the team. Senior Alexis Firlotte was awarded the team's 110% Award; senior Alina VanRuff was named Most Inspirational Player, and freshman Megan Lesmeister earned the Most Improved Player Award. Lesmeister also was named Most Valuable Defensive Player. Senior Erin Stucker went home with the Most Valuable Offensive Player Award. The Coaches' Award was awarded to seniors Ali Ballard and Kelsey Sonneson.
Six Enumclaw athletes also earned All League honors, as awarded by league coaches. Ali Ballard and Erin Stucker were named to the First Team All League team; Kelsey Sonneson and Annie Birklid earned Second Team All League honors, and Hannah Kinniburgh and Megan Lesmeister were awarded All League Honorable Mention.
