The Enumclaw High School Girls Water Polo Team played their last game of the season on Saturday, and beat the Stadium Tigers 8-4 to take 11th place in the State championships.
Senior Bella Davenport and junior Megan Lesmeister each scored three goals in the game. Lesmeister stepped out of the goal for the game's second half to add to the Hornet's offensive firepower. Sophomore Hayley Sonneson scored one in the first half, and filled in as goalkeeper during the second half. Freshman Anna Davenport also scored a goal for Enumclaw.
In the championship game, the Curtis Vikings beat three-time defending State champion Gig Harbor 4-3 to claim the State title.
