The Hornets kept up the pressure in the third quarter, scoring six, while limiting Kentridge to one goal, for a 10-5 Hornet lead heading into the final quarter. Kentridge rallied in the final period, scoring five, but Enumclaw scored one to hold off the home team, and earn the 11-10 victory.
The Hornets were led by Bryce VanHoof's six goals. Jack Pugh scored four, and Quinn Warner added one. VanHoof also gathered seven steals. Goalkeeper Austin Kaehn captured 18 saves in the win.
The Hornets are now 3-0 in league play and 5-1 overall. The team travels to Puyallup this weekend to play in the Emerald Ridge Tournament at Rogers High School. Enumclaw opens tournament play on Friday, facing Shorewood at 4:20, and Stadium at 7:20. On Saturday the Hornets face Emerald Ridge at 10:00 and play a second, and possibly a third, game in the afternoon.
