Enumclaw's Boys Water Polo Team improved their record to 2-2 after a 15-9 win over Lakes High School on Saturday, September 18, at the Enumclaw Aquatic Center.

The two teams had played even in the first half, with the score knotted at five at the intermission. But the Hornets took command early in the third quarter, scoring four goals in the period, and limiting the Lancers to just two scores.
The Hornets went on to add five more goals in the final period, and held Lakes to two, for the final 15-9 score.
Hornet Garret Hall led all scorers with eight goals in the game. Also scoring for Enumclaw were Bennon VanHoof, with five goals, and Travis Culp with two. Scoring for Lakes were Matt Archer, with five goals, Zach Essein with three, and Chris Edgecomb with one.
The win improves the Hornet record to 2-2 for the season. Enumclaw travels to Auburn on Tuesday for a league game against Auburn Mountainview.
