Head Swimming Coach Announcements
On behalf of the Enumclaw High School Athletic Department we are happy to announce that Laini Goodlett has been hired as our new Head Girl’s Swimming Coach for the 2014 season. Laini has a long history of success in swimming. Laini was a member of the Enumclaw High School swimming team from 1985-1988 and helped the Hornets win a State Championship in 1988. Laini still holds a number of individual and team records in swimming. Following graduation Laini competed at Arizona State University for a year before returning to Washington. Laini received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Washington and has previously been an assistant swim coach in 2009 for the EHS program. Laini is excited to lead the Enumclaw High School girl's swimming program into a new era.
On behalf of the Enumclaw High School Athletic Department we are happy
to announce that Jesse Nitz has been hired as our new Head Boys Swimming
Coach for the 2014-15 season. Jesse has a long history of success in
swimming. Jesse won multiple state titles as a high school swimmer. He
continued his career at the University of Washington where he was a four
year letter winner. Jesse’s hard work and talent as a swimmer qualified
him for the 2000 U.S. Olympic Trials. Jesse graduated from the
University of Washington with a Bachelor’s degree in Aquatic and Fishery
Science and currently works with the Muckleshoot Tribe as a Fisheries
Biologist. Jesse has recently volunteered with the EHS. swim program
and is excited to pass on his skills, knowledge, and passion for the
sport to future generations of swimmers.
