The Enumclaw High School Boys Water Polo Team has been seeded seventh in the Washington State High School Water Polo Championships, held this week. The Hornets will play two games on Wednesday at Lakes High School – against Lakes at 5:20, and against Bellevue at 7:40.
The State seedings are as follows:
1. Mercer Island.
2. Auburn Mountainview
3. Bellevue
4. Curtis
5. Auburn Riverside
6. Newport
7. Enumclaw
8. Puyallup
9. Peninsula
10. Lakes
11. Emerald Ridge
12. Bainbridge Island
If the Hornets finish in the top two of their three-team group (Bellevue, Enumclaw, Lakes), the Hornets will advance to quarter-final action, on Friday at Curtis High School. This is the third consecutive year that the Hornets have advanced to the State tournament; the Hornets finished third at State in 2010.
