The Enumclaw Boys Water Polo Team beat the Peninsula Seahawks for the third time this season, to improve the Hornets' league record to 2-2. The win came at Enumclaw's home pool in a 4:30 contest on Tuesday, September 29.
In the defensive struggle, the Enumclaw squad held Peninsula's two-meter player scoreless with a crashing double-team, and limited point Chandler Clarke to one goal. Scoring for the Hornets were Garrett Hall, with two goals, and Travis Culp, Zack Petersen, and Bennon VanHoof with one goal each.
The Hornets continue league play on Thursday, hosting the Auburn Trojans in a 3:30 game at the Enumclaw Aquatic Center, and the Stadium Tigers at 12:30 on Saturday. Saturday's play continues with Enumclaw hosting Mark Morris in a 2:30 non-league contest.
