Official Washington State Standings

League officials posted the girls water polo standings after the completion of the April 27 games. At the end of the regular season, the top four teams from each division will advance to the Regional Tournaments on May 20 and 21. The top four teams from each Regional Tournament will advance to the State Tournament, held May 26-28 at Curtis High School, in University Place, WA.

With two weeks remaining in league play, there is still ample opportunity for changes in the standings. Enumclaw Water Polo will post updates as they become available on this site, and on Twitter @EnumclawPolo.

Three Weeks Left in Regular Season

Three weeks remain in the girls water polo regular season in Washington State, with Regional Tournament action in less than a month, on May 20 and 21.

The Region I Tournament, at Curtis High School, will include the top four teams from the South Division and East Division. The top four teams from the North and West Divisions will compete in the Region II Tournament, at Rogers High School.

This week's regular season action will include 20 league games, and end with 13 schools competing at the annual Auburn School District Tournament at the Auburn Pool on Friday and Saturday.

Washington State Standings (Unofficial)

The post-season in Washington State girls water polo is growing near, and regional seedings are taking shape. Enumclaw Water Polo has posted unofficial standings, as we have compiled from the division scores that have been reported.

The top four teams in each division will advance to post-season play, with teams from the South and East divisions facing each other in the Region I Tournament at Curtis High School, and the North and West divisions playing in the Region II Tournament at Rogers High School. Both Regional Tournaments will be held on May 20 and 21.

The top four teams from each Regional Tournament will advance to the State Tournament, held May 26 through 28 at Curtis High School.

Washington State Enters Season's Second Half

The Washington State girls high school water polo season has entered its second half, with teams facing their division opponents for the second time, and post-season seedings starting to take shape. Currently leading their divisions are Newport in the North Division, and Curtis in the South. Enumclaw leads the East Division, and defending State Champion Gig Harbor holds the lead in the West Division. We hope to post division standings later this week.

Several schools are on Spring Break this week, so there are only 17 games scheduled throughout the State.

Emerald Ridge Tournament This Weekend


The Emerald Ridge Girls Water Polo Team will host a varsity water polo tournament on Friday and Saturday at Rogers High School in Puyallup. Eight teams will participate in the invitational, non-league event.

Four teams from the East Division will compete in the tournament, including Enumclaw, Auburn, Auburn Mountainview, and Tahoma. Also competing will be three teams from the South Division - Puyallup, Rogers, and host Emerald Ridge. Shorewood will be the lone representative from the North Division.

Games are scheduled to start at 3:30 on Friday, with the final game of the day scheduled to start at 9:20. The first game on Saturday will start at 12:00, and the tournament will conclude with the final game scheduled to start at 8:30 on Saturday.

The fourth week  of regular season play in girls high school water polo season starts in Washington State on Monday, April 4, and ends with the Emerald Ridge Tournament at Puyallup's Rogers High School on Friday and Saturday.
