Vote for Water Polo

The NCAA is conducting an online poll, asking what Fall sport you are most looking forward to. Last time I checked, water polo was just five votes behind soccer for second place (Football was way out in front, for first). Go to http://www.ncaa.com/ and vote for water polo; let's get out ahead of soccer.

Also, Universal Sports has been broadcasting the World Championships of both Swimming and Water Polo from Rome. They also have been rebroadcasting swimming and water polo from the Beijing Olympics. When you're inside trying to avoid the heat, check it out. Universal Sports is channel 115 on most Comcast networks.

No Summer Polo in Last Week of July

The Enumclaw High School Water Polo programs will take a break from summer workouts during the last week of July, from July 24-August 3. Practice will resume on Tuesday, August 4, from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m., and will continue on Tuesdays and Thursdays for three weeks.

Fall season for Enumclaw High School sports will start on Monday, August 24. Boys Water Polo and Girls Swim & Dive are both Fall Sports. Boys Swim & Dive is a Winter Sport, and Girls Water polo is a Spring Sport.

Boys Water Polo practices will be held from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m., Monday through Friday, during the week of August 24. Beginning on the first day of school, August 31, practices will be held from 8:00 to 9:30 p.m. All practices will be held at the Enumclaw Aquatic Center.
